Configure default values.

Sponsor earns commission on all orders of customer

If set to 'No', then the sponsor will only earn a commission when the coupon code is used. If set to 'Yes', then the sponsor will earn a commission every time the customer orders, as long as the customer entered the affiliate coupon code the first time ordering.

Commission Rate

This is the default value used for commission rate when entering a new coupon/affiliate. The value can be changed per coupon.

Commission Type

This is the default value used for commission type when entering a new coupon/affiliate. The value can be changed per coupon.

Order status to calculate commission (Joomla only)

The order status at which the commission is calculated and added to the affiliate account. By default, the triggering order status is set to "Confirmed".

This section gives you options for affiliate payout. There are 2 options:

  Request a Payout - this is triggered by the affiliate who goes into his account and clicks the 'Request a Payout' button

  Automatic Coupon Payout - a coupon is automatically generated and sent to the affiliate when his commissions is greater than or equal to the Minimum Payout Amount

Automatic Coupon Payout

Select a coupon template (created within AwoCoupon) used to generate the coupon code in automatic coupon payout. Select 'Disable' to not use.

Request Coupon Payout

Select a coupon template (created within AwoCoupon) used to generate the coupon code when the affiliate requests a coupon payout. Select 'Disable' to not use.

Minimum Payout Amount

This field is used by both Automatic/Requested Coupon Payout. The value entered in this field is the minimum amount pending in the affiliate account before a coupon code can be generated. If it is set to 0, automatic coupon payouts will not work.

From Name

This is the From Name in the email which is being sent to the affiliate. If left blank, the Store Name is used.

From Email

This is the from email address in the email which is being sent to the affiliate. If left blank, the Store contact email is used.

Email Subject

This is the subject in the email which is being sent to the affiliate.

Email Body

This is the message which will be sent to the affiliate upon automatic/requested payout.

Dynamic Tags
• {username} - the username of the affiliate
• {coupon_code} - the coupon code generated for the payout

Email configuration that is set for sending an email to an affiliate after each sale.

Send affiliate email after each sale

Enable/disable sending of affiliate email after each sale. By default, it is disabled.

From Name

This is the From Name in the email which is being sent to the affiliate. If left blank, the Store Name is used.

From Email

This is the from email address in the email which is being sent to the affiliate. If left blank, the Store contact email is used.

Email Subject

This is the subject in the email which is being sent to the affiliate.

Email Body

This is the message which will be sent to the affiliate.

Enable paypal payout for both administrators and affiliates

Enable

Yes to enable, and no to disable. This only affects the front end. Administrators can still make payments with paypal even if this option is disabled.

Sandbox

Decide if you want to test this feature in sandbox or not.

Production/Sandbox Paypal Email

Enter your paypal production/sandbox email.

Production/Sandbox Username

Enter your paypal production/sandbox username.

Production/Sandbox Password

Enter your paypal production/sandbox password.

Production/Sandbox Signature

Enter your paypal production/sandbox signature.

Minimum Payment Amount

Enter the minimum amount pending in the affiliate account before a paypal option is given. If it is set to 0, then there is no minimum.

Currency Code

Enter the currency in which payment will be made. This is a required field and should be the same currency as your default currency.

Fee Payer

Select the payer of paypal fees. If 'Each receiver', then the affiliate will pay the paypal fees. If 'Sender', then the store owner will pay the paypal fees.

IPN Notification URL

Can be left blank and your store homepage will be used.

Memo

This is text that will appear on your transaction within paypal. Can be left blank.

Warning to users, will appear in front end

This can be useful to display a message or warning. If for example, you set the Fee payer to 'Each receiver', then it might be worth adding a warning in the front end that says something like 'Warning, you are responsible for any paypal fees charged'.
