I started with AWO Rewards however am planning to configure a full fledged Afiliate System on our site.

I did start to look at some other afiliate tools but am currently trying to figure out the difference if I would make it with the AWO components. Could you pls help me clarify some questions for my evaluation?

    1. First of all I am pretty confused about the large similarity of the different AWO components and am missing some comparison table of features from which I would understant the exact differences, where they are complementary or where they are eventually duplicating some functionality.

    2. Second I do have some simple requirements to fulfill, maybe you can comment each of them in relation to your components, if and how this could be accomplished?

Every Virtuemart Client (registered user) becomes automatically an afiliate, is this possible

In my case Id like to use the afiliate system also for reseller as basically for us they are identical, just a category of each other, just few options may change (e.g. amount of comission etc.)

Whats the difference from your point of view and handling in your components and how can I diferentiate users/affiliates/resellers by categories or simple flags?

How can I show a (eventually filtered) list of users/afiliates/resellers with contact details on frontend?

Is there some easy Facebook and/or Twitter integration for users so user can easily share some content automatically conected with the tracking information for rewards and comissions?

    Kind regards,
    Bernhard

    Hello,

There is no comparison chart, but I can give you a quick summary:
    - AwoCoupon is a fully functional coupon system, which allows you to create different discount that customers can use on the front end.
    - AwoRewards is a reward system for registering, ordering, product review, and some social items.  It can be used as an affiliate system also where the affiliate and friend are connected if the friend signs up with the affiliate registration link or uses an email in the affiliate invite list.
    - AwoAffiliate is an affiliate system which is based on coupon code.  This component requires AwoCoupon.  Basically, a coupon code is assigned to a customer, the customer gives out the coupon code, and when somebody uses the coupon code, the affiliate earns a commission.

Every Virtuemart Client (registered user) becomes automatically an afiliate, is this possible

Yes, every customer automatically gets generated a special registration link, and has access to the invitation page.

If I understand correctly, you have 3 different types, affiliates, resellers, and friends?  AwoRewards cannot handler that, it can deal with sponsors and friends.  For sponsors it can be multi level, up to 4.

How can I show a (eventually filtered) list of users/afiliates/resellers with contact details on frontend?

You can create a menu item which shows a user's referral list.  This screen basically shows the email address and user name of the users.

Is there some easy Facebook and/or Twitter integration for users so user can easily share some content automatically conected with the tracking information for rewards and comissions?

Yes, you can create an invitation page for both facebook and twitter which any user can use on the front end:
