Gift Certificate Balance & Sales

Hi several Q:

1) I can't find how to purchase the GC? Do I add to cart in VM or there's a separate module for it?

2) GC balance
If a customer bought $100 GC, and uses $40. The balance of $60 will be carried forward for next applied purchase.
If a customer can't check the balance so how do they know how much is left in the $100 GC? Is it via email to inform or when they apply GC for the 2nd checkout and they can see how much left is deducted?

Are there any way to modify the code so as such they can check via the front end?

1) once setup in AwoCoupon you would add the product to the cart and upon order confirmation the gift certificate is automatically mailed out
2) AwoCoupon Pro really is an administrator function, the admin can check within the backend. Gift certificates are not tied to any specific user so its not possible for a logged in user to check the balance of a gift certificate. If you are using awocoupon 2, awotracker gives the customer a way to check. Otherwise, yes, Im sure you can modify the code as needed, it is not a small modification.
