Buy 2 for 20 EUR

Hi Seyi,

Product X costs 12,50 EUR. However I want to give user option to "Buy 2 for 20 EUR". This gives user a saving of 5 EUR if they buy 2. Can you tell me how I set this up?

Thanks but I cannot get it to work. I did as you said and added an "automatic discount", but it does not reduce the cart by 5 EUR when I add these 2 products. Would you mind if I send you login details to my site via email?

Thanks for the access. I see you are using eshop. For that, there is an extra installation which was not installed automatically. So I went to awocoupon->awocoupon->installation check, and installed the 2 required core items.

It now works.

Hi Seyi - one further question:

BUY 2 for 20EUR is now working. Is there any way I can also allow the coupon "Buy 4 for 40EUR" to work at same time?
I tried this by creating a second coupon, but when you add 4 products to basket it applies both coupon discounts rather than just one (5 EUR discount from 1st coupon and 10EUR discount from 2nd coupon).

Yes, it would have to be installed everytime you update Eshop.

So these discounts you added to the automatic discount screen right? If so, then make sure the buy 4 for 40 is ordered before the buy 2 for 20, and in configuration, under multiple coupons, make sure automatic discount max is set to 1.

Also if the future you want to add other coupons to the automatic discount screen, then you would remove the restriction in configuration and then add the 2 buy 2/4 coupons into a parent coupon and add that parent coupon to the automatic discount screen instead.

Many thanks Seyi. Those 2 coupons now work. I will now see if I can sort out adding them to a "parent coupon" so I can add other coupons. I will shout if I get stuck!
