Some Coupons being removed after checkout

Have customers complaining about entering a discount code and showing as applied but then after checkout the discount does not reflect in the order. Also have issued with customers being able to apply one time use coupon codes in the cart but then removed after the order is placed.

Running Virtuemart 2.0.24 and AwoCoupon Pro 2.3.8

Go to awocoupon->configuartion and change the order status to process coupon to anything but order creation.

Not sure then. What payment method is being used? Is this something that can be reproduced easily?

We are using Authorize.net for payment, I will try and replicate it. I have not been able to replicate it but it has happened to enough customers to were I think their is something weird going on.
