I have just purchased the pro version but cannot activate it because there is no local key listed in my account. I cannot see any way to generate one.

Hello,
The initial activation is done through AwoCoupon pro. So log into the admin site of Joomla, go to awocoupon->license and enter your license number and click the activate button.
