Add product automatically when you spend more than X

Hi there,

I would like to add a product to someones cart automatically as a gift, when they spend more than 130 EUR. They can spend 130 EUR on anything, and then they will receive a specific product in their cart for free.

How is it best I do this?

Hello,

You can do a buy x get y coupon where you set the minimum value to 130 and check the box to automatically add to cart.

For buy x, you would select:
- Number: 1
- Type: Vendor
- select all your vendors

For get y, you select the specific product.

Then add the coupon to automatic coupons

I have done this and have a problem. Every time I added more than 135 EUR to cart, then my website breaks due to memory allocation problems:

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 268435456 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 72 bytes) in /home/xxxxxxxxx/public_html/mywebsite/administrator/components/com_awocoupon/helpers/estore/estorecouponhandler.php on line 1742

The problem is actually because the cart tried to add over 57,000 EUR of products to the cart! I know - the 'Buy X Get Y' is setup wrong, which is causing problem.



I did what you said, but I had:

- 'Don't mix products' ticked (this was a mistake)
- no vendors in system so I added all 'Categories' for product X.


So now I have unticked 'Don't mix products'. But what do I do for Product X if I do not have any vendors in system? Your quick help here would be great.

So you got rid of the error? And yes, you definitely do not want to check dont mix products.

For product x, you just need any way of selecting all your products. So it can be all manufacturers, if those are setup. Otherwise use all categories.
