point claim

Hi,

I have 2 questions regarding points:

1. How is possible for users to claim points in order to convert them to discount coupon? (The button to claim points doesn't appear)
2. Is it possible to limit maximum percent of coupons which is generated by users based on achieved points. (For exampl: minimum points to claim+maximum possible discount percent)

1) You can create menu items to the AwoRewards pages for the front end user, or access them directly (after logging in) here:

2) there is no limit on maximum that can be claimed. If you create a percentage template coupon which customers can requiest it is changed to an amount, which is the points the customer has earned, using the ratio you setup.

I have created the AwoRewards pages for the front end user, but in credit history the is no button to push in order to claim the points. While when I enable paypal payout, related button will show up.

There are 2 types of payout through the system:
- coupon payout
- paypal payout

To enable both, you can go to aworewards->configuration, and the 2 tabs:
- Coupon payout (request)
- Paypal payout (request)

Once those are filled in and the customer qualifies in the front end they will see the payout button.

Also make sure you are using the latest 2.0.8 as there was a problem with the coupon payout button showing up fixed in that version.

It is 2.07 how can I update it while the current setting maintain?

You can update through Joomla installer, just download the files from here:

Or you can update from within AwoRewards itself, on the dashboard, if there is an update, you should see the 'update' link (might need to clear aworewards cache for this)

If I install the new versions, current setting for Aworewards will be remained?

No, your settings will survive upgrade.

But if you are worried, you can always backup the aworewards tables.
