Discount after Shipping Method incorrect

When discount is applied to order with tax in (If state is California) then the discount amount is increased by a bit. I just realized it was an issue because I was looking at some invoices in QuickBooks and their was a remaining credit of a few cents for some orders.

If I test it using standard virtuemart discounts the issue is gone.

Can you please let me know what would be the best way to fix my issue? I have a 7.5% tax setup for CA and it setup as taxbill. So essentially everything seems correct except for the discount code increasing.

I am runing VM 2.0.24 and AwoCoupon Pro 2.2.9

Yes, the discount field shows the discount including tax, but the tax is also taken out of the tax line. So double tax discount. I would suggest this solution:

Hi Seyi,

It looks like my fix was to change in the AwoCoupon configuration to apply discount before taxes. I remember this being set as Yes before so maybe one of the updates changed it.

I do have another issue going on with shipping coupons so ill create a new post shortly.

Sorry to come back again, I was looking through some orders and it looks like the discount coupon isn't working correctly again when tax is involved. I double checked the setting in AwoCoupon and it's set to calculate discount before tax.

I wasn't sure if the previous link you provided was still valid or if that was outdated.

Is the problem too much discount? It is discounting both the discount+discount_tax all before tax? If so, then injection mode is the only way to fix this:
