It takes a long time to receive a certificate

Hi Seyi,

It generally takes a long time to receive a gift certificate after it as been ordered - generally between 45 minutes and 4 hours. Do you know why this is? Is there a setting that will speed this up? Is this a known issue?

The gift certificate emails are triggered when the order's status is moved to the confirmed stage, unless the order status has been changed within awocoupon->configuration->gift certificates.

So are the orders automatically confirmed? If so, there is no reason they should take 4 hours to be sent out.

Yes, orders are automatically confirmed. Strange. Order confirmation emails are sent out right away. I get an email confirming to me that I have purchased the certificate. But I don't receive the actual certificate until some time later.

Has anyone else experienced this? I've had the same issue on two different servers.
