gift certificate codes not generated configured using stockable plugin

Hi,

I configured about 5 different gift certificates using the stockable plugin and a dropdown to select each. It doesn't give an error but the codes are never generated. If I configure a gift certificate without using the stockable plugin it works fine.

The stockable plugin adds the parent product id to the order and then adds the true product id in an attribute field. This makes it hard to parse.

Is there a reason you are using stockable? Do you need stock control on gift certificates?

No, I do not need to track stock. I was just attempting to follow one of your earlier posts listed at https://awodev.com/forum/awocoupon/help-section/sell-gift-cert-custom-fields-help. So, I think what you are saying is use the generic child variant, right?
