Buy X Category get Y Product

Trying to setup that when the optional field minimum value is set to overall and a min price value is entered selecting combination of a product, (one or more=minimum value) listed under the Buy X type Category listing the Get Y Product listed.

Have tested with minimum values entered an Bu X number set to 1 with type set at Category and included Categories in box below with Get Y number set to 1 with type set to Product and included Product in box. Also set Automatic Discounts for the coupon code.
When purchasing more than one item which total at least or more than the minimum value the shopping cart does automatically add the Y product and deducts the coupon discount amount.

The problem is that when more than one Get X Category Product is selected the Y Product Qty in the Shopping cart does not show a Qty of 1(one) but the Qty of X selected. I would need to see a Qty of 1 for the Y Product.

Just to restate the problem, you want the discount of Get Y to stop at 1, no matter how many Buy X is in the cart correct? If so the please set the "Maximum Discount Qty" under optional fields to 1.

That should fix it.
