Coupon doesn't include shipping

When a coupon is used, it only applies to the product price but doesn't includes the shipping costs

For example:
Products worth €40,- are in the cart. Shipping is €5,- Total: € 45,-
When a coupon of € 50,- is used the customer still has to pay €5,- for shipping.

I'd like the coupon to include shipping as well. Is there a simple option i'm missing??

There are 2 ways to do this
1) make the coupon a gift certificate, this automatically includes shipping costs
2) use parent coupons
coupon a: your normal discount coupon
coupon b: your shipping discount coupon
coupon c: parent coupon where you combine coupon a and b together and select process type of all that apply. Then give out coupon c.

ok, i got it working. I used a coupon a a template instead of the gift certificate
