[Resolved] Awo coupon - automatic mail sent x days before coupon expiration !

Another great idea for your great component (i think its a great idea :) )

Could it be possible to create a mail template and setup a delay before coupon expiration to automatically send email to recipient.

I think it requires a setup in coupon properties whether or not sending auto-mail before coupon expiration.

2 cases :
- one or more recipient defined in coupon properties
- coupon open to everyone
For line 2 it awo coupon will act like a mailing tool so I dont know if its possible.
Maybe the best is to use a plugin to do it through acymailing ....

That would greatly improve coupon useness efficiency !

Hi Ed,

Another good idea. I believe this is going outside the scope of AwoCoupon a little. As you said, it is almost acting as a mail service. i want to keep AwoCoupon as clean as possible with doing the one function it was commissioned to, but doing it very very well, which is processing coupons.

So If I were to add something like this it would not be to AwoCoupon, it would be to AwoCoupon Email or maybe even a new plugin.
