Free product and free shipping

Hi
I have AWO pro on VM 1.1.19 and Joomla 1.5.25.

I can create a coupon for products that will make the order $0.00 which is what the client wants. However it does not apply the coupon value to shipping. Basically the coupon value is meant to apply the coupon to product and shipping giving the user a free product and shipping. For example the product is $15 and shipping is $6 and the coupon is for the amount of $30 therefore order should be free. How can i achieve this?

Hello Andrew,

Normal coupons do not apply towards shipping. For that you would have to use a gift certificate, or you could use a coupon using the parent coupon function.

Parent
Only used with function type 2 of Parent
This option allows you to join multiple coupons into one coupon by adding them as assets. When a customer uses a parent coupon, then depending on the process type (see below) the coupon is processed as such.
Options (Process type):
First found match
Lowest value coupon
Highest value coupon
All that apply
ONLY if all apply
Multiple selection: shows all coupons that are not function type 2 of parent.
