Reuse Code

Hello,

I am using the email gif certificate option. I had a customer request a refund after they received the codes. My question is can I reuse that code that already went out for that product? I tried to import it into the system and that was successful...however, the new gift certificates that go out only have system generated codes....

Why would you want to reuse a gift certificate code? If the user has been refunded then you should immediately disable the code. If you do not, then the original customer can still use it.

If you do want a specific code to be used, then yes, you can import it into the gift certificate product and make sure it is set to 'active'.
