possiblity of a scenario

I would like to ask if the following scenario is possible:
use a percentage discount on products in a specified category, if any kind of products are purchased.
Same for the number of purchased products: if I buy "x" items, I my also buy "x" from the discount category.

Im not sure I understand what you are trying to create. I think you want:

if you buy item x
then you are allowed to buy item y at a discount

If so, no, AwoCoupon does not do purchasing rules. This extension might do what you want:
