CSV Format, Error

Hi at all,

I have a problem with the CSV Import. have 200 Coupon Codes and I need to get them into my AWO Coupon Pro Programm in Joomla for Virtuemart.

I made an export, then put the new coupon in it and tried to upload it, but it always says:
"Empty Import File"!

But there is something in the csv File, can anyone tell me what kind of setup I have to do in the CSV Sheet.

Right now I have "Westeurope Windows 1252 - Win Latin 1" and for Field: , and for Text: "

I hope someone can help me, because I need to get these Coupons in there until tomorrow! =/

I hope someone can tell me the right instructions, to create this kind of CSV..

okay, now I have switched the language from German into English and now I could export the right csv data.
I changed the Coupon code and I want to uploade it, but it says:

May I have to change the csv data into german to import it??

I tried to change some words into german, but then it says:

-- Please enter a valid Percent or Amount
-- Please enter a valid discount type
-- Please enter a valid number of uses type
-- Please enter a valid function type 2 mode
-- Exclude Products on Special: Invalid
-- Exclude Gift Certificate Products: Invalid

( I changed published into freigegeben, function type2 into "Kategorie" and some others, but it is still not working.. )

I hope someone can help!

Are you using importing in English? If not, what version of AwoCoupon are you using?

Yes, there is a problem with importing in other languages. This has been fixed in the most recent version 1.4.

So if you upgrade, you should be able to import in German with no problem.

I do believe upgrading will solve your problems. Be sure to backup your db tables before updating, here are the instructions:

I already upgraded Awo Coupon Pro. But now I have the Problem, that when I want to import a csv file, I come back to our website, out of the backend and I can't go back, without closing the browser and starting it new.. I just cant uplode CSV Files anymore... Any Idea? I need to put 200 Codes in there until tomorrow.. I really hope you have a idea..

ahh, okay.. I guess the Problem with uploading csv is the name.. When I name the file "coupon_list" then it works.. But now I still have these errors:

I just exported the data from Awo Coupon, put in a another coupon code and tried to uplode it.. It is not working..



edit: and I have problems, when I edit in the csv file the "?Ä" and "?Ü" errors.. they have to stay like that....

alright, I almost got everything.. except of:

I can uplode the CSV File, but he always says:

Which means, the start date is wrong. I tried it like this:

20111408
110000

20110814
110000

20110814 without the time..

i just tried everything, but it is not working. I guess I need really help for that problem, I am glad I fixed all the others by my own!

It really is not possible to import in German if your version of AwoCoupon is less than 1.4.0. So please upgrade it or import in English
