Status of coupons don't change after redeemption

2 products: A and B
coupon 1 is defined for A with specific one use
coupon 2 is defined for B with specific one use
Both coupons applyed for all customers
the system allows 1 redemption for each coupon, ok. The problem is that the coupons status still displayed as published after the redemption.
any idea?

Is the number of uses set 'per customer' or 'total'. If it is set to 'total' then after x usages, it should be unpublished. If it is set 'per customer', then it will never be unpublished because even after all your user use the coupon, you will still always have future registered users who will be eligible.
