not receiving the email with coupon

1 - I'm not sure if virtuemart is recognizing the product as a coupon. At checkout, a shipping charge is added to the order (test order for only the gift card). The gift certificate product should have free shipping.

2 - I didn't receive the email with the gift certificate for any for the test order that I did so far.

* The installation is right, I checked the php changes and the extra line of code are there.
* I did read that blog and I followed the instructions listed there so what else could be wrong?

After the order is completed, did you make sure it is in the confirmed stage?

The website is still in test mode but I manually changed the order status to confirmed.
I tested again and still nothing...

Ok, I cannot think of anything else. Here is a small checklist:

1. On installation check page, the gift certificate code is installed
2. You have created a gift certificate product within AwoCoupon that is published
3. In front end you purchase this gift certificate product
4. You make sure that the order is confirmed (automatically or manually it does not matter)

If everything is checked then it should work. Otherwise, I do not know what the problem could be. i can take a look at it if you send me a private message with ftp/admin access.

No, it wasn't installed... I did a new purchase test and received the email with the gift card. Thanks!

WHERE DO I GET THIS FROM TO INSTALL?

That is from a very very old version of AwoCoupon, and is pretty much irrelevant an any modern installation.  This answer is 8 years old.  Please start a new topic if you are still having issues.
