Confirmation email shows wrong calculation

Hi,

I have updated two files you provide, everything is fine, just the mail I and customer receive are bit more than actual, for example
if the cost is $19.99 and tax is 8.25% tax is added as $1.64 and then I give coupon of $10 it reduces the tax to $0.82 and product price as $10.81 just fine , I check out via Pay pal , cost is fine there also., but the confirmation email we receive is $11.57


on checkout it shows correct like this

pls also note that the order is also updated in database as 11.57 , though on checkout and paypal i receive actual amount. note I have not updated paypal line you told me , coz it show the wrong calculation in paypal that is 11.57

I do not understand the subtotal number in the confirmation email. How is 21.64 calculated? Is the numbers on the last (confirmation) screen correct or is it the same as the email? What 2 files did you update?
