BUG - Exclude discounted product with amount coupon

Hy Seyi,

I've found a bug concerning the option of excluding already discounted product while using an amount coupon.
The bug accurs in both situations : when you enter your coupon as products are in the cart, or if you add a discounted product to the cart after having entered the coupon ( am I clear ??? :) )


I works with % coupons, but not amount.

Can you reproduce it ?

Hi Ed, very clear. I cannot reproduce in 1.2.3. I created a basic amount coupon and in both situations of entering specials in the cart, the special product was not discounted.

mmh ... let me see : I set a minimum amount to the coupon too : 70€

I've found the situation : If you take 10€ coupon with minimum order of 70€, you add to your cart 20€ non discounted product + 55€ discounted product, then is does not work.

If you take a singel (or multiple discounted product, but only discounted products) over 70€, then it works.

Of course I've set the coupon to specific, not global ...

can you reproduce it ? :)

I still cannot produce any problems with excluding discounts after adding the minimum value. Maybe you can explain in detail what you are putting in the cart, values, and what you expect to happen.

Ok, this is my scenerio
Product no discount: 20
Product w/ discount: 55
Coupon: 10 with minimum order total of 70

20+55=75, which triggers the minimum order requirement. Since there is a product with no discount of 20, then 10 is discounted. If the coupon code was with 100, 20 would have been discounted.

Is this not what you are getting?

Could it be possible to exclude from the total discounted products when I click on the option "exclude discounted products" ?

If is set 50€, the 50€ are calculated only on none discounted products ?

Hi Ed,
It can certainly be done, it would require customizing ps_coupon_process.
This is not something I am likely to add to AwoCoupon though.
