Coupon Codes not working [Prestashop]

When an order for a Gift Certificate is placed, an email is sent to the recipient, a code is generated and saved. When I try to use the generated Gift Certificate code in the cart it says that it is 'Invalid' or nothing happens. No discount is applied.

I have the latest 1.3.3 version of AwoCoupon installed on Prestashop 1.6.1.0.

Does any coupon from AwoCoupon work? Or the problem is limited to the generated gift certificates?

I tried some others certificates and coupons, and none appear to work.

Ok, I would first start by clearing your class cache. So either delete or rename this file on your server:
/cache/class_index.php

This should referesh your class cache and allow overrides to work, as long as you have not disabled all overrides in the backend.
