I want to ask if it is possible to use the AwoCoupon Pro "Buy X Get Y coupons" function for the below.

I want when a VM customer buys specific products to have the ability to choose one more product as gift but from a specific VM manufacturer.

What AwoCoupon, you can setup such a coupon, where if customer buys specific products, then they can get 1 free gift from a specific manufacturer. But they cannot choose the free gift through an AwoCoupon interface. The gift would have to be somehow entered into the cart and the coupon used to receive it free.

Can the coupon be placed in the VM intergrated coupon mechanism in the VM cart (in the coupon field) and apply only on the choosen gift product ?

Yes, correct, to get the discount the customer would enter the coupon code in the virtuemart coupon field in the shopping cart front end. And yes, you can set up the coupon to apply only to the chosen gift product.

One more question. Is there a way to set a minimum cart amount (for example 100 euros) so that the customers has the ability to choose one product as gift but from a specific VM manufacturer.

If a customer buys products over 100 euro in total then he/she can take another product from a specific manufacturer for free.

Not sure I understand. You can set a minimum cart amount before allowing a coupon to be used.

But you cannot allow a coupon to be used once, set the minimum amount, and if it is surpassed, allow it to be used again, which is what I think you are after:

- Buy from a manufacturer, get a product free
- and if your cart total is over 100 get another product free

You can do this but would have to use a parent coupon setup as such:

Coupon A: buy 1 get 1 free
Coupon B: buy 1 get 2 free if minimum cart total is over 100
Coupon C: parent coupon where you add coupons A and B, ordering B first, set process type to first found match

And then use Coupon C.

The scenario: every customer can buy from the shop. every time the customer's cart is over 100euros in total he/she can take a product from a specific manufacturer as a gift

Yep, can do that with a buy x get y:

Function type: buy x get y
Value: 100%
Minimum value: 100
Maximum Discount Qty: 1
Buy X:
Number -> 1
Type -> vendor or manufacturer
Selection -> all
Get Y:
Number -> 1
Type -> manufacturer
Selection -> the manufacturer

That should cover it.
