AwoCoupon Pro won't update from Joomla

Hello,

I get XML error when trying to update AwoCoupon Pro from in Joomla. I click on update found Then update and get these errors.

JInstaller: :Install: Cannot find XML setup file

Invalid package type. The update can not proceed.

Joomla 2.5.22
AWOCoupon Pro 2.2.7.1

I have to DL the component and update with extension manager.

You were able to get the download manually and update? This is the fall back. There are many network reasons the automatic update would not work. If you are not seeing the xml file then my guess is your webserver does not have write permissions to the /tmp folder. There is no way to really know what the problem might be without debugging it.
