There is already a thread about this issue and partly this got already fixed, but only for new installations.
MEDIUMTEXT is only applied in the mysql.install.sql for the #__awocoupon_history table.
If you upgrade your installation from prior versions, then the table does not get updated through any update scripts.
And so existing installations keep having a too small column.
