discount when using specific shipping and payment combo

    I would like to offer a discount that is only applicable if a shopper chooses a specific shipping method and upfront payment method like iDeal OR Paypal. Is this possible to configure, and how would I do that?

    You can create a combination coupon:

    Coupon 1: shipping coupon, where you select the shipping methods it applies for, and set discount amount to 0
    Coupon 2: the actual discount coupon, set all parameters you need including payment method
    Coupon 3: combination coupon, you add coupons 1 and 2, set process type to only if all apply

    Then use coupon 3.
