Grand Total Not Calculating Correctly Due Tax

I am using Cleanmart template for VirtueMart.

The tax rate is 5%.
The discount is 10% off.
I have Discount After tax setting.

PRODUCT TOTAL:: $1000
TAX TOTAL: $45 (It should be 1000 x 0.05 = $50.00)
SHIPPING TOTAL: 0
DISCOUNT: $105
GRAND TOTAL:$940.00 (It Should be $945.00)

Hello,

I am assuming before adding the discount the tax was 50?
Also how did you setup your virtuemart calculation rule for tax?

Also check awocoupon > installation check, and make sure you have the file updates installed.

Hi Seyi,
I try to use the Virturemart Coupon. The tax and grand total are calculated correctly at the check out page.
(The tax rate is 5%. The discount is 10% off.)
PRODUCT TOTAL: $1000
TAX TOTAL: $45
SHIPPING TOTAL: 0
DISCOUNT: $100
GRAND TOTAL:$945.00
If I use AwoCoupon, the following values will be shown at the check out page:
PRODUCT TOTAL: $1000
TAX TOTAL: $45
SHIPPING TOTAL: 0
DISCOUNT: $105 (It should be $100)
GRAND TOTAL:$940.00

So I setup a virtuemart 3.8.6 / AwoCoupon 3.6.0.7 and cannot produce the issue with the info you have given me.

I setup:
- calculation rule, tax bill 5%
- 1000 euro product
- ten, 10% discount coupon
- in awocoupon set calculation type to discount after tax

And this is my cart:

Both cases are correct. In your last example, you showed Virtuemart coupon. Virtuemart only does discount before tax. For AwoCoupon, did you update the configuration to use discount before tax? Do you have a checkout extension, can you temporarily disable it and test? Do you have any plugins in vmcoupon section that are enabled other than AwoCoupon? If so, try disabling temporarily and testing.

I do not have any checkout extension and plugins in vmcoupon section that are enabled other than AwoCoupon. I set up as 'discount before tax' and 'discount after tax'. The both results are same.

I use Cleanmart template for VirtueMart. The checkout values are correct if I use VM coupon. I set up as 'discount before tax' at AwoCoupon. The checkout values should be correct, but not.

I disable Cleanmart template, and use VM checkout. Still get wrong values.

The 'discount before tax' at AwoCoupon do not work for my site. The Discount amount should be $100. Please you help me to fix the issue. By the way, we do not set a real payment system in my site. All shipping costs are set to $0.
