Language overrides

I am trying to use the standard, Joomla! language overrides...specifically to change the language string for "COM_AWOCOUPON_CFG_COUPERR_VALDEF_THRESHOLD"

I do this in the back-end like I do for other components, but it doesn't seem to work when the coupon is applied.

Am I missing something, or is this not supported?

In AwoCoupon > configuration > error messages, that string just changes what is displayed to the administrator:

If you want to change it on the front end, you have to update the text box on that screen.
