Manually create a gift certificate with option to print or email

I would like the facility above. There are 2 reasons:-

I have added a product and not set up the Gift Certificate properly. From the customer order, I would like to create the Gift Certificate and either print it or email it.

Sometimes, we require to provide a credit for a customer. It would be ideal if we could do this as a Gift Certificate they could use at a later date.

So the basic idea is you want to be able to generate a gift certificate image manually and give it out as you please? This function is not available.

But for number 2 you could just create a gift certificate code and email that.

I think option 1 would be useful, I am guessing it would not require much of a change in your existing code!

Option 2 I am guessing would not currently provide an 'gift certificate'. Otherwise, it would be the solution for option 1.
