Hikashop Gift Certificates - balance not available after partial use

Hi Seyi

I have created a new Gift Certificate using a template with $75 value - when I test using the certificate, I can use part of the value and that works correctly.  When I go to use it again, the full $75 value is available.  This should only be the balance remaining.

What have I done wrong in configuring the coupon?  It's a while since I've done this so I've probably missed something.

Thanks for the quick reply - OK I created a new Gift Certificate template and created a new product so it looks like a Gift Certificate and it now shows me a balance but I can still only use it once.  Have a forgotten something else?

It changed to a balance.  In awocoupon > configuration > AwoCoupon Balance, you must have this set to yes:

  Automatically add valid Gift Certificate to Balance on coupon usage

Once it changes to a balance, you cannot use it as a coupon any more.  It is now a store credit in that specific account and can only be used as such.
