Coupons not applied in child products (directly or through category)

    Hi, I am issuing an urgent problem as I changed the philosophy of my products and started using child products instead of string custom fields, in order to start controlling my stock.


    Unfortunately my coupons stopped working and I am in a middle of a big campaign which relies on the offer granted through the coupons. The changes consumed a lot of time and it is very hard to revert them...

    I tried adding the child products in a category and apply the coupon there but the problem was not resolved.

    Ok, so looking at the product coupon, you have it pointing to a parent product that is not orderable. 

    But in awocoupon > configuration > advanced setting you have "Exclude children products from discount" set to "yes".  So ordering any children products would not work.  Set that to "no" and it should work as expected.

    I should have left it there during my tests.

    Changed it to where it was but the problem remains...

    You can check again my settings.

    What is the issue exactly?  I added 12 bottles to the cart and it coupon was triggered:

    Yes, this one works, I needed to clean cache and cookies to see it. Please try the other one with the free shipping on the magnum bottles.

    The one with the magnum bottles is the one that has to do with the child products and stopped working by the time I created them.

    I need it to be triggered only when one more of the selected products are in cart in any combination.
    If there are also in cart any other products except the child products of the 6 selected, we don't want the coupon to be triggered.

    It was working before creating the child products.

    Ok, was able to reproduce the problem and it is an issue with AwoCoupon.  Since you provided ftp access I have fixed it, should be working now.
