10% off not calculating correctly

I have 2 different coupons, one is 20% off if you buy more than 1 of a certain item. the other is 10% off sale items if they buy other products, you helped me get these both working but somehow now they are charging the wrong %

I use Hikashop, and the discounts appear to be adding tax. (6%). I am not logged in and we only charge sales tax to one state, not yet added to shipping, so i'm not sure why it's doing this. We would like the discounts on the product amt, then calc tax on the total amount due AFTER discount.

I have discount before tax (voucher excludes tax) YES on both in the awo setup, and also discounts before tax in hikashop set to YES.

UPDATE:  if i go to checkout and choose a state that does not include tax, it recalculates and removes the 6% and calcs correctly. If i set up to ship to the state with tax, it still seems to total the amount correctly (110.00 - 11.00 = 99.00) but the COUPON shows 11.66?

When you set your state to MD it should charge sales tax, but not other states. The calc of tax seems ok but i don't understand why it's showing the tax % in the coupon display amount.

Was able to reproduce it in the cart module.

In admin

- go to extensions > modules

- search for the cart module and go to it

- tab Hikashop options

- set 'Show taxed prices' to 'no tax'

That fixed it for me
