Buy one and get 10% off a category

How can i set this up?

Buy one of item X, Y, or Z, then get 10% off ANY/ALL items purchased in the SALE category?

I tried buy one get one, but it only allows me to get discount off ONE sale category item. It seems there should be a choice added to the first found/lowest/highest, that would let it apply to ALL.

There is, in the 'Apply discount to' row.

But for you setup, use a combination coupon:

  coupon a: normal coupon were you add products x, y, and z and discount of 0

  coupon b: normal coupon where you add sales category and discount of 10%

  coupon c: combination coupon where you add coupons a and b and set process type to 'only if all apply'
