Query regarding the component

Could you please let me know if the component supports below 2 requirements,

1.Can the coupon code apply a discount only on the product price and not the custom attributes.

2.Can the coupon code apply the discount on the product price and also trigger a new shipping value.

The replies:

1. No, the coupon code is applied to the product, if there are custom attribute prices in the product then it also applies to that.
2. I do not think I understand this question, do you want to be able to use a coupon code on the product as well as receive a shipping discount?
