Have a look here:

That is a pretty old version of AwoCoupon, cant really provide support for that.  I would suggest you upgrade.

One thing you can do is go to awocoupon > configuration > error messages tab, click the debug button and save.  (if you dont have the debug button, enter a different code for each error line).  Then try the coupon again in the front end to see why it is failing.
