I can purchase the Gift Certificate in Hikashop, but no code is generated, no email is sent with Gift Certificate Info. to either recipient or sender. I'm sure it something small and stupid that I've forgotten to do, but can't figure out what. Any thoughts as to what I'm missing?
AWO Coupon and Hikashop not working together for Gift Certificates
- In awocoupon > configuration > gift certificates, did you set the order status to trigger the function?

- Ok, so the order which should trigger the gift certificate has already reached the confirmed stage and it is not triggered? Is it possible to send a private message with temp admin access to view the configuration?
- Thanks for the access. Looking at the setup, it seems the gift certificate product attached was a variant of a parent product. So I disabled that and created another gift certificate product to the parent product. I set the price calculation type to base price, so the gift certificate amount is based on the amount of the product, not the amount set in the gift certificate template. Then created an order with 3 gift buys. After I confirmed the order, I received the email with all 3 codes.The only issue is I received 2 emails with gift certificates (6 in total), and it looks like 2 different orders were entered for the one order in the backend. Please look here:awocoupon > history of uses > ordersAny idea why that may be?
- I see those two orders, but I have no idea why you would be getting two like that.
- It looks as though it has something to do with HikaMarket Multi-Vendor. I ordered another GC and it did the same thing. Came up with two order numbers with two coupon codes (k9) was Hikahop's and (L10) was Hikamarket's.Even though both orders show like that only one coupon code is actually created for use.No emails were generated.Emails do go out with the "Send a Voucher" featureI've recreated the gift certificate products in hikashop, one for each dollar amount and have created the coresponding templates, but still no luck.
- Ok, so had a look and found that since you are using mult vendor extension, there are actually 2 orders created for every order. So had to adjust the code to check for orders with order_type = sale. The mult vendor orders have an order_type of subsale.It should work now with no double entries in AwoCoupon.
- Hi that piece seems to be working, but I'm still not getting an email/voucher to the recipient of the Gift Certificate. The Admin is getting them OK, but not the recipent.
- I received the emails just fine. If it shows on awocoupon > history of uses > orders screen, then the emails were sent out. Can you try another email account?
- Hi, Sorry. I just placed an order again for gift certificate using two emails unassociated with the site in any way. Paid the $$ in PayPal, Manually changed the status to "Confirmed".No Order number was created in awocoupon> history of uses > orders and no email receipt nor voucher was emailed to the buyer nor the recipientSeems like we took a step backward,Any thoughts?
- Apologies, I had disabled them all in awocoupon > tools > gift certificates, and forgot to enable them again. I enabled them, updated the last order from confirmed to created and back to confirmed, the gift certificate was produced and shows in awocoupon > history of uses > orders.
