eShop Buy X get Y problem

I wanted to give away a Y product when X is purchased. It should be quite simple and I'm not sure where I'm going wrong in the setup of the coupon, but I get a cart error that "This Coupon is either invalid, expired or has reached its usage limit.

I've tried taking away the limit on the number of uses per customer and don't really know where this is incorrect. It also doesn't add the product Y to the cart automatically, and I'm not sure if that is just an eShop thing, or something else.

I'm also not sure if it should be set at an overall quantity or each quantity?

I took a look and the last two two core file update (required) items were not installed.

It seems to be working now.
