Codes not in email

Have created gift certificate and a discount code for VIP members, have created gift certificate products for both and everything works fine.

Emails are sent instantly when purchase is confirmed and the text I entered into the profile is there but no codes, expiration text etc at all is there a reason for this

Sorry tried using profile1 and it works so I know now what i did wrong.

In html email, you can use the tags {vouchers} to display the code(s) within emails.

Under the email body there is a vouchers text field, by default this is how it is set:

{vouchers}: Gift Certificate: {voucher}<br />Value: {price}{expiration_text}<br /><br />
{expiration_text}: <br />Expiration: {expiration}
