Remove shipping option [solved]

Hello,
I have a problem trying to get the cart to bypass the shipping options when there's only Gift cards. I've read the following posts below, yet nothing. I've tried adding all the shipping methods in the certificate options and checked "include" but still nothing. It just goes to the shipping choices when i want to check out. Some of the links below are 3 years old and don't apply anymore. Any help would be appreciated.

Most of those are for virtuemart 1 which would not be relevant.

In any case, as far as I know, you cannot skip shipping. What you can do is have it automatically selected, in virtuemart->configuration->checkout, there should be a "Automatic Selected Shipment" option. And if there is just one shipping option available and this box is checked then it would be automatically selected.

Now how is your shipping set up? Is it based on weights, if so you can set your gift certificate to 0 and sellect your shipping options to work if the weight is 0.01 or greater. Then create a free shipping option for gift certificates and set the maximum weight to 0.01.

That's VM for you, the ecommerce solution you love to hate. Anyway, the shipping options are very simple for the site so I just combined the two options into one and now it doesn't redirect to shipping anymore. Thanks, Seyi.
