Could you please be more specific and make a simple example?Lets say a customer A purchased in Virtuemart Order for 500 USD and we found out this should be assigned to sponsor B which recomended it.

You do not assign the order directly, you assign the sponsor to the friend. And in doing so, on the next cron run, the credit to the sponsor should be created. The direct url for entering a referral:

If you prefer to enter points directly, you can, by going to the credit history screen, aworewards->credit->new, and enter the info there. The direct url for entering credit points:

What do you mean? Select users how? When setting up a referral or points, you enter the first 2 letters of the username and a dropdown appears with usernames you can select.
