Does this one work?

Hi sorry for the stupid question but have recently purchased a couple of components similar that just don't work and support has been none existent so being a little cautious about laying out more cash which I'm sure you'll understand.

I'm running Joomla 2.5.28 and Virtuemart 2.0.22b and PHP 5.6, I'm looking for a component that will mainly award points for confirmed order total and then allow users to accumulate and then redeem those points as discount on later orders.

Again sorry if this seems stupid to ask but after already wasting money on other components I just need some peace of mind that A: it'll work and B; if it doesn't I can get help (even if it's paid help).

Understood.  Yes, you can do that with AwoRewards. 

- you can create a rule that will award points on order total, either a set amount or a percentage of the order total
- you can have users request to redeem points as a coupon code to be used in stores
- alternatively if using AwoCoupon pro, you can have points transfered directly into a customer balance in the front end, which they can used at any time, without needing to first transfer it into a  coupon code

It does look like I'll need coupon pro as well and I think we'll have other uses for that anyway but I'll start with Awo Rewards and get my head around that first.
