Cannot save Customer Type

Hi, I am configuring a tell-a-friend with Awo Rewards. When configuring a rule (type: order) for the payout to the sponsor, I cannot save the Customer Type configuration. I choose 'Sponsor (>)' from the dropdown, but when I save & close, it jumps back to 'Everyone'.

My intention is to send a coupon to the sponsor when the friend purchases something.
