Update Error 2.5.9.4 to 3.5.5.0

    I am trying to update from 2.5.9.4 to 3.5.5.0 but i am getting an error: 0 Unable to open archive


    How can i fix this ?

    What is the name of the file you are uploading into Joomla?

    i am doing this through live update at the right bottom

    You cant use the live update for the major upgrade from 2.x to 3.x.  Please download the file directly and upload through joomla installer:
