template creation - one or many(to spare)

Hi Seyi,

I am doing gift card $10 whereby customers purchase my products and they will be entitled the $10 gift card. I would like to know at the back end, do I have to create 50 gift certificates first in case I have 50 customers or I will only have to make 1 gift certificate by leaving the code blank and the system will automatically generate the code and send the code vi email to my customers?

You only have to create one gift certificate as a template, and set the value to 10:

The system will automatically make a copy of this gift certificate with new coupon code when customer purchases. So no need to make many gift certificates.
