skip select payment method problem resurfaces in 2.6

Hi,
I had solved this problem in a previous post, see link below. Well, I just updated to VM 2.6 and it's back again--I installed in on my localhost to test it first. Any solutions? None of what worked before works again.

PS I'm only using PayPal and the gift card payment system--VMPayment - AwoCoupon & PayPal Standard.

Hello,

For virtuemart 2.0.24 and beyond:

- create a free order payment method
- in configuration set maximum amount to 0.01
- for all your other payment methods set minimum amount to 0.01

That way, only the free payment method shows when the total is 0 and should be automatically selected without the customer having to go through and select it.
