Problem with gift certifacte generation

Hi

When i want to generate a gift certificate product, i get the message the i need to choose a product element. But i can`t choose anything in these field.
What schould i do in this case?

In the text field, start typing the product name, and after 2 letters a dropdown will appear and you can select the product. Just like in this image:
