how to apply the coupon on a group of users

my question now is:
is it possible to apply the coupon on an users group direcly, without they inserts the coupon key?

It is not possible to apply the discount automatically. This is a coupon module, and I am trying not to diverge from it too much. It can be done, but you would need some hacks in the ps_cart.php file in both the add and update cart functions. PM me if you want to go this route.
