Gift certificates for web and in store

    We use VirtueMart on our Joomla website and eQuate POS for both web and in store payments.  I wonder if there is a way to generate a gift certificate that could be used either on the web or in the physical store.  I have queried eQuate about this, but as yet have received no reply.  Thanks in advance

    Not sure how eQuate works, but you can keep track of gift certificate usage purchased on the web, through your website. It is made easier using AwoTracker.  It has qrcode functionality also.

    So for example, customer purchases a gift card on your website.  In the image sent to the customer, is an embedded qr code:

    In that qr code is embed this coupon code link on the demo website: nVy4PyuvqtGW

    Clicking that you can see quickly what the voucher value is and what is remaining.  If the user is logged into the front end, and is in a user group that has the right to mark usage, set within AwoTracker configuration, then on that same page they can quickly enter the value used and save.
