Free Shipping and Coupon not valid in cart...

I'm trying to make a free shipping coupon code, and I'm have some problems with it.

1. When I try to apply the coupon code when first enter the cart it says invalid. The code will apply after we get to the shipping part of the check out. How can I make it work when someone fist goes into the cart?

2. After I apply the free shipping coupon code and the system takes it, I still have shipping applied to the total price.

Coupon Pro Version: 1.2.2 pro
Joomla 1.5.21
VirtueMart 1.1.4
Shipping Method: Shipping based on order totals. Fixed shipping costs based on values entered in configuration.

Hi, in awocoupon->configuration, you can enable shipping coupons before a shipper is selected.

That option is set to yes... I can give you the login if needed.
